We live a mile from our HS. My kids don’t drive yet. Two thirds of the route which passes the ES is sidewalk behind wood fences of several houses. None of that is shoveled. Not sure where you are, but the snow-ice concrete on our driveway has not yielded yet to the weight of our vehicles.We have a long driveway and only managed to get maybe half cleared before it became impossible to clear. We did manage to clear the sidewalk in front of the house for the kids. Bottom line: unless the other walks get cleared, Tuesday is a minimum 2-hour delay. The ice covered walks need pickaxes to get through. I’m from the upper Midwest — ice here has always been an issue here. Back home the snow is easier to deal with especially with all the equipment they have. [/quote]
