I would like low lights or highlights to add dimension to my stunning grey hair. It is a beautiful color, just all one color, and I would like a tiny bit of dimesnion. But hairdressers have openly admitted to me they do not know how to work with grey hair. Where to go?
Don’t ruin your hair with highlights.
That's what they say.... But I see pictures of lowlights in grey hair and the dimensions looks beautiful, just like highlights in dark hair...
You see pictures of someone stepping out of the salon not what it looks like 2 months later.
that's fair-- i was told nothing is as light as my white hair, so highlights will look yellow. but .... maybe something like pearl babylights, or demi color lowlights. strategic, fine ones. Or even just a glaze, but not a yellowing one. I get bored like everyone else haha. But I really haven't found a hairdresser that encouraged me to try any kind of color/dimension/glaze on my grey hair except the guy at Michael Anthony salon said he could do something He blogs a lot about grey hair. He seemed very nice and enthusiastic, but it's a bit of a hike for me if I wanted to maintain. I'm more NW DC....someone closer.
