I think RMIB is a great option. 
Do you all think these programs will be impacted by the 6 region model? I almost want to just stick with the home school if the magnets will go downhill with cutting recourses.[/quote]

RMIB and Poolsville SMCS will be much less impacted compared to Blair SMCS. Do unless your DC is really determined to do STEM as their career or really skewed that they feel constant pain in writing articles, I’d think RMIB is a less risky route for the next four years.[/quote]

Not PP, but my guess is they're saying that because a fairly large percentage of kids who currently go to Poolesville SMCS and RMIB will still be in-bounds with the switch to the regional model.  Poolesville in particular is only losing a few schools that are currently in-bounds, and many of them don't usually send many kids in the first place. [/quote]
