Adequate sleep is one of those basic health/wellness/parenting things you need to give your kids, even if it is inconvenient or impedes the ability to do fun things. Just like you generally get them to school on time, give them their vaccinations, keep them home from school to rest when they have a fever, give them 3 meals a day, have them wear seatbelts, give them some basic amount of nutritious non-junk food. I always wonder why some parents put "sleep" in a different box. [/quote]
