I am already on BC (norethindrone) and the OBGYN had to suggest it because I was bleeding non-stop and this is the only way it could stop. It is also messing with my hormones but I am nots are if I need to go on HRT. [/quote] I think this makes it pretty hard to say what’s going on. The norethindrone could be putting you into a low estrogen menopausal state. I would not let a doc just throw me on a mini pill ever esp in my 40s. I think you deserve better treatment got your bleeding to start. [/quote]
