Mine are younger and I look forward to this. When they are a bit older we can "date" again, I can feel like someone other than Mom, hopefully we can get some of the romance back and that will lead to feeling sexy.

The issue is some woman go into mom only mode which is fine as long as you acknowledge it and tell your partner. Many woman just stop being wives to be mom only and the husband is left nothing with nothing but to wonder. Will she ever come back, is she not attracted to me anymore.  And he puts in effort, maybe the wrong effort, but effort. And months and years later he is in the same place. The wife never says, I know I am still here I haven’t gone anywhere I just have a different role at the moment and I love you.  An ounce of acknowledgment would prevent an avalanche of life pain for both.[/quote]
