Mudd is for all practical purposes tech only despite their insistence that they are a liberal arts school. Also, the student body (especially the engineers) are more interested in industry than grad school.

They’re not liberal arts because of the degrees they confer, but because a mudd student literally has to take 5x the amount of social science and humanities courses as a Pomona student. They need 11 to graduate.
