[/quote] This reminds me of my own experience years ago at an independent often discussed here. Our college counselor at the time tried to get me to apply ED to the Head of School's alma mater. I'm sure it was a good school, but no one had ever heard of it and it was in a state I clearly stated I didn't want to live in. It was also below the tier of school I should have been applying to! My parents were not involved in the process as much as they probably should have been, but at least I had the common sense to go against the counselor's wishes. [/quote]
