Is there a large cohort that starts new in 9th grade, or do most of the kids already know each other?[/quote] The school is still pretty new, so only a handful of years to really give you data from. Plus, this is the first year in the new school building (separate now from the MS). So things will likely change over the next few years. But I think there are enough kids from the MS that head towards the application HS's that there's opportunity for backfill and new students coming in.[/quote]
