I didn’t think first year of AA was much of any pre-calc?[/quote] Yes, analysis year 1 at Robinson does a fine job preparing kids for calc BC. It is equivalent to an honors precalc curriculum, with a few differences. The issue is that the IB analysis curriculum is a list of 150 topics/standards covered over 2 years. It’s up to the individual schools to break it apart as they choose. Robinson was very intentional to separate it so that kids were prepared to kill time in AP Calc before year 2.[/quote]
