Openings are rare and defer to people with specific experience, but do hire MPHs. You would want a large hospital like Inova where you can be on a team to learn the role. Or healthcare vendors that develop IFU manuals. Find contacts at hospitals or major healthcare orgs who might be willing to do some sort of informational interviews and get you in the door to meet more folks. Healthcare folks are helping by nature. Nursing leaders, quality/regulatory managers etc. [/quote] DP to add, for infection prevention/control, if you already have an MPH, just study for and take the CIC exam (courses offered through APIC) and it would give you a leg up plus you could meet people in healthcare through the class.
