Every school has pros and cons. If your son doesn’t get into the same school as his friend, it might turn out to be for the best. His second choice probably offers experiences and opportunities that the first doesn’t. It would also give your son the chance to spread his wings and meet new friends, without being in the shadow of his old bff. As one poster said, get excited, buy the sweatshirt and focus on the positives of whatever school he attends. Once he starts going to admitted student events, meeting new kids and feeling the school spirit, he will forget that the other school was even a first choice.[/quote]
