I'm not really understanding what he did wrong here. Is it the fact that he seemingly hired a woman who was a sex worker and robbed him? Did he not disclose the lost school items?
He was on a taxpayer-funded business trip. Therefore, he was technically at work during the time he hired a sex worker.
Right, which makes sense why local leaders and the community would be concerned, but the article never states that as the case. It's upon a reading of the details that you can infer the woman who robbed him at 2 am was likely a sex worker. Or, if not that, an affair or acquaintance he indulged in while at the conference with perhaps a fellow attendee? Again. Nothing is spelled out or clear. But if it's the latter scenario, and assuming he's married, then his main sin would have been engaging in adultery while traveling on a work conference.
