You could a call a few days ahead of time to find out what's available. I think some people do it ahead of time and some people call when they get the pet, either one is fine. When we adopted our most recent kitten, we called the day before we picked him up and scheduled an appointment for that week. Then he got sick the second day we had him, and we were able to bump the visit up to that same day.[/quote]
