I had an X3 and just got an X5. X3 was great, but highly recommend the X5.
Looked at the X5. Found ourselves in an X7 instead. Love it!
OP here. An X5 is more than I need, and an X7 is way more than I need. I'm tired of squeezing my current 3 row SUV into tight parking spaces, and ready for something a little smaller.
That makes sense, especially as parking spaces seem to be shrinking in size in many areas. It'd be a mistake to buy a larger car than you need. Not only will the purchase price probably be higher, mileage gets worse with increased vehicle weight and size. We have one X3 and one X5; the X5 will be replaced with another X3, which is plenty large enough for 99% of our use cases.
