One of the managers in our group doesn't lock her car doors and neither does her husband. Husband left keys in car. They live in a nice suburb. Her (company) car didn't get stolen because there were no keys in it. But the thieves poked around in it. Because the stolen vehicle had OnStar, and the police were immediately called, the vehicle was tracked within about 30 minutes. And recovered that day. That was an exciting PSA at a pre-Christmas staff meeting! Also our town's LA Fitness is a major theft magnet for laptops and wallets (from cars and locker rooms).
