Kids at Whitman have incredible advantages, including but not limited to generally being full-pay, potential legacy status at elite colleges, high level external test and extracurricular coaching, etc. So unless OP also has those advantages, it doesn't really tell you anything about how their child will fare and there's no real way to disaggregate for it. Bottom line - it is impossible to know whether Whitman itself has anything to do with the fact that privilege begets privilege. [/quote]
