The King David part (saw you bathing on the roof) in the song is about infidelity and destruction of the betrayed spouse too. David lusted after his best friend's wife Bathsheba, after seeing her bathing on a rooftop. To get rid of her husband, King David sent him off to war to the front lines so he would get killed and David could then bed Bathsheba. The entire song is about betraying and destroying your spouse, but justifying the infidelity as righteous because the sex feels so good. It is 100% a song about infidelity and betrayal, not redemption as someone else said.[/quote]
