Did you go to the park every day when you were a kid? I truly can’t believe the amount of pressure parents put on themselves today. Many Parents have other things to do in a day and don’t have hours to spend at a playground. It’s truly unbelievable.

No, you can take a day off if it's very cold.

If you live in Canada or Maine or something, you have to get all the gear and force yourself to figure out to deal with the cold, because you can't just stay inside for 4 months.

But in DC? Most winter days are warm enough to get out, so do that, but when it's very cold, take a day off and stay inside. That's also good for you. Do you think people in Wisconsin go outside in a blizzard just to get their steps in? No. Sometimes it's too cold. Sometimes you stay in. The temp at which that's true will vary by the climate.[/quote]
