Add on icy conditions and I would argue they are more challenging than those out west. I went out west after learning to ski as an adult and only having skied one season and it was so much easier out west due to wide runs and much better snow. PP obviously has done no challenging blacks out west, moguls, bowls. The mountains here is a little warm up to the real stuff out west. I also find it funny that just because her and DH learned to ski in one season and did blacks locally that they think their form and technique is good enough to even ski well and handle so many different challenging terrain out west.
