Both of my kids have had the flu in the past month, and they both had the B strain (despite the shot), but got it 3 weeks apart. They went from absolutely healthy to a fever of 102 within a half hour, for the next 2 days, I couldn't get the fever below 102 even with Tylenol and Advil together. My daughter said her lungs were tight and needed albuterol, and my son developed a rare complication called acute myositis and couldn't walk for 3 days. It hits hard and fast, and it's really scary. 104-105 fevers can cause seizures and other serious situations. [/quote]
