[/quote] The biggest challenge with DC politics as I see it is there's no credible opposition party. Sure, you've got the lefty progressive/DSA types and the good ol' boy old-school Dems, but they're both part of the same Democratic Party and all run in a closed primary, which is the de facto general election. Ranked-choice voting will help, but I'd love to see some sort of opposition party that wasn't a bunch of MAGA morons or weird libertarian types. Open primaries would probably help too. [/quote]
