Hopefully buy a new hose rather than get anything fixed. [/quote] The hose probably isn't coming off because it's corroded, likely due to the reaction caused by two different types of metals. Short term fix is to just cut the hose. The easiest permanent fix is to have your husband man up, grab his oscillating saw, and make one or two cuts on the hose nut. You will damage the threads, but if you don't go too deep, it will be fine. Then use channel locks to remove the nut. Or do nothing and pay for basement reno in the spring. [/quote] Haha. Thanks!
