Past administrations have stopped a number of plots by extreme right wingers. So no need to thank God. It means that agencies like the FBI and others are just doing their jobs.

2019: Coast Guard Lieutenant's Assassination and Bombing Plot  
White nationalist Lt. Christopher Hasson stockpiled weapons for attacks on politicians and minorities. FBI arrest prevented execution; he was sentenced to over 13 years.
