Didn’t and would never vote for Trump but part of the issue with this country is that we traded stable, most union middle class jobs for cheap crap from China and other countries with horrible labor conditions so that we could satiate short-sighted materialist impulses.

We need to demand that all products imported from China must be made by companies who are required to treat their workers according to U.S. standards. No tarrifs, just require that their workers be paid more and get all the same protections U.S. workers get. That would level the playing field. [/quote]
