Whenever the crack would re-appear (~once every 1-1.5 years), I took that as my body’s way of telling me to get my iron levels checked. 90% of the time, results showed moderate to severe anemia. Iron infusions saved me. Antifungal and antibiotic cream seemed to have little to no effect. [/quote]
