It might be difficult for you at this point and you would be very limited in the classes you could realistically teach. You could always take a course yourself first. That’s going to be the biggest barrier to you getting the job, if you were somehow able to even pass the test to get the certification. You don’t have experience. Have you been working on any HS math these past 20 years? I’m making a lot of assumptions here and I’m sorry if I’m wrong, but I’m a math teacher and it’s been so long I would need to study really hard before I taught a calc class now. Many adults couldn’t do the problems in Alg 2. [/quote]
