Umm yeah it’s calling for freezing temperatures and snow in the mornings. There’s also a special weather statement warning of icy roads and cold wind. I think that’s enough to delay or even cancel school. [/quote]

I totally agree. Some people really don’t think 🙄. It’s not necessarily the amount of snow but the ice risk. Many kids drive or take the bus to school so it’s dangerous especially in the morning when there’s a lot of cars and risk of car crashes. [/quote]

it's not dangerous. at all. just because ice exists doesn't mean anyone is going to crash. people around here search for reasons to cancel school. [/quote]

DC is one of the few places in this country that gets very little snow or ice, and yet is extremely well prepared for it. You and everyone else will be fine. I'm sure the city has already laid down six inches of road salt. [/quote]
