Thrilled for the possibility of a 4 day week! Let it snow!
Are you children that miserable in school? So sorry for your kids.
This could be the child writing.
Or a teacher.
Definitely a teacher!
Doubtful. Few teachers, especially 7-12 teachers, want snow days in December. There is too much to cover before winter break.
Yup. I am already desperately trying to complete my math units before winter break, because spreading it across winter break is certain failure for 80% of students. In my SOL level classes we are testing the tuesday/wednesday before break so I can afford one snow day, but in my AP class it's the friday before break...if we get snow in december, they either lose the review day, or they test after break, neither of which is great. Fingers crossed we have school 5 days a week until winter break. (I am on board with delays...we cover just as much as in a block by cutting out all the filler/fluff required to keep kids engaged for 90 minutes, but cancelations are rough)
