I honestly can’t remember exactly what they said but I’ve been back a few times and yes, we are cleaning her ear and we’ve tried different meds. [/quote] You can try changing up her diet. It’s possible it’s allergies related. I would call again and ask specifically if a culture was done. If it was another culture may need to be done as things might have changed. There is something called pseudomonas which can rapidly change in the ear to what meds they will respond to. Sounds like your vet is recommending a total ear canal ablation which is kind of the nuclear extreme option. This is after you’ve exhausted all efforts and nothing has changed. [/quote]
