But just like glasses are ok rather than refusing to "fix" her and just accepting her vision, pt to help her walk and run better will make her life easier and give her more options like playing sports, hiking, getting around with less fatigue and fall risk, etc. Same with speech...being intelligible and having a typical voice will give her more opportunities.[/quote]
