The overall rate of mortality is low in infants, and the rate of hospitalizations for other infections is higher in infants then older kids/adults- the higher hospitalization rate isn't unique to covid and doesn't show a meaningfully increased overall risk. Basically, covid isn't something to be uniquely or particularly worried about, even in infants.[/quote]
