I see all of the suggestions here involve retribution.  But honestly, I found that working together with both the school and the community policing, good outcomes were the result.  If you have a child that is being bullied, I suggest getting involved with the school.  Get to know the important people - principal, assistant principal, counselor, and office staff.  Form direct lines of communication.  Address problems before they get out of hand.

I also found it important to listen to their feedback when it came to my kid.  It's always hard to hear the negative.  But, my kid needed to learn some social skills and needed to avoid some groups of kids, which was very doable with the school's input and assistance.  [/quote]
