They typically dont care about consequence (banned from sports and dances). I guess it deters some of the kids who just habitually late and slow walkers. The problem is there is not official consequence for tardy. Admin doesn’t want the referrals. And teachers have a duty free lunch so we are not giving lunch detentions. As a protest many teachers are refusing to let students eat in our rooms during lunch.[/quote]
