There is a large low income neighborhood that feeds into this MS/HS, along with 2 high end neighborhoods and several in between. [/quote] They likely drop out when they are 18 to work in order to support their families, most of whom are extremely poor. The dropout rate does not usually correlate with the quality of teaching or apathy among the students (not in this area at least). [/quote]
