So are the players in portal ones that are bench players at their school and hoping to be picked up to be starters? Do coaches know if a player goes to portal- assume they have to, but what happens if player goes to portal and doesn’t transfer somewhere- can coach at existing school drop them? Yes coaches know which of their players are in the portal. Most are ones going to be dropped anyway. Remember there are 8-10 players on every team that never see the playing field. Portal gives then a second chance. About 1/3 or players in the portal will not get picked up and their career is probably over.[/quote]

Quiet, you are messing up their narrative (P2P is terrible, this area does not produce any talent because the coaching stinks, they will not go pro or college, if they do get accepted it is not with a scholarship and only with a big donation from dad, they will get no playing time, will enter the portal and not get offers, their career is over, and all that money into P2P was a waste).  Did I miss anything?[/quote]
