Pre states VA top 13: James Wood, Riverside, Courtland, Colgan, Madison, Flint Hill, Paul VI, Colonial Forge, Patriot, Marshall, BOC, Langley, West Springfield.
 
Class 4:  James Wood is the most accomplished team in the state, beat Flint Hill, Georgetown Day, Riverside.  A champion of champions.  Courtland is also in Class 4 and a top 5 VA team as well, unfortunately they are slotted to meet in the semis.   James Woods ends up beating Grafton for title. 
 
Class 5:  Riverside is heavy favorite,  beating Kellam in final. 
 
Class 6: 
West Springfield/Patriot  - This will be at West Springfield who have not seen play since early in the season.  Patriot a slight road favorite, will need to deal with gyms low ceiling.
Grassfield/George Marshall – GM beat Langley (defending champion) twice and kept them from states, so respect to them.  They travel to Grassfield, but should prevail.
Patriot vs GM - go with home team which I think will be Patriot.
 
Colgan/West Po  -  Colgan to win.  West Po has a .500 record and ended up in states; Region C misses Alexandria HS’s golden generation, 2 championships & 2 semi finals in 5 years.
James Madison/Thomas Dale  - James Madison to win.
Madison vs. Colgan - go with home team which I think will be Colgan. Should be great match.
 
My pick is Colgan .  Madison or Patriot winning would not be a surprise though.
