In previous years, the kids accepted from OOS in EA were the kids with Ivy-level stats that also end up getting into Top10 schools. Michigan loses most of these kids. They also accept high stat legacies during EA because they tend to yield those kids. So many kids are applying to Michigan ED this year, but they seem to be one step down stats-wise from the type of kids Michigan admitted in EA at our school in previous years. It will be interesting to see what happens. They haven’t even hinted at what percent of the class will be accepted ED. [/quote]
