Yes, they really will have no employees if we have to wait until the New Year to get paid. I know someone will sarcastically say "that's what they want" but really things will fall apart if they don't have anyone in ATC or Social Security or the IRS. [/quote]

What are feds going to do, we are in a jobs recession, and some random clerk from Social Security administration is not gonna get a better paying job somewhere else, their best option just to hold out until reopening.

People with options already left because of doge. The people left behind are all the old ones where ageism and will make hiring really hard and the very specialized fed ones which have no other options.

I have some lateral options which I have considered, but have not pulled the trigger yet because they require moving. I don’t know which point it will make sense to uproot my family because I’m never getting paid, six months?[/quote]
