The p numbers are performance levels. The 68.4 is students who scored 3 and 4s. The rest scored 2 with only a tiny number scoring a 1. That is good for a high esol school.
Great! Still not clear why one part of the website says 68.4% and another part says 34%.
Did you bother looking up how they calculate the report card, if you're so curious? It's all right here: https://reportcard.msde.maryland.gov/Graphs/#/HelpGuide/HelpGuideLinks/3/17/6/99/XXXX/2024 The report card proficiency is based only on the scores of last year's seniors.
If they have younger kids, they are new to this, so explain it vs. giving them a hard time. I'm not even seeing the 34%.
Either click on this link: https://reportcard.msde.maryland.gov/Graphs/#/ReportCards/ReportCardSchool/1/H/1/15/0789/0 Or if you don't trust links: 1. Google "MD School Report Card" 2. Click on "Maryland Report Card Home" 3. Type "Einstein" into the box on the right and select "Albert Einstein High (0789)" 4. Scroll down to where it says "ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT" 5. Look at the percentage next to "Percent Proficient English Language Arts"
