My EE girlfriends and I have all been arrested in DC by police. One in Virginia I think, and we were not even targeted. This was just regular pick-up day for police.
Imagine not being white and ICA walking around.
We were all let go and got 'no papered'. Courts were confused why were were there. One even sat in the court with a broken arm.
She got arrested for her own broken arm. The arresting papers said that she broke someone else's arms. She is a nurse now, but boy were they close to ruining it all for her. 
My case is even worse. I don't wan to talk about it. Glad I was strong enough to come out of it. Went to ask for help and got arrested instead. It all really depend who shows up after you call for help and less about what happened.
And the one in Virginia had taxi driver touch her sexually. She was terrified, tried to get out of the car without paying ofcourse (who has time for that) and he called the cops.
Another one arrived in US, but something wasn't right with her visa situation. Instead of sending her right back on another plane. they put her into detention for a week. Let her out, but kept her passport. Yeah, make it easier for her to get home. Who needs a passport. It was not easy to get a new one in 1995.[/quote]
