Well, if she is representative of this group of people, I'd say the disdain is WELL EARNED. You don't get to spout off hateful things at people and get a pass.  I don't care if you are small town or white or whatever.  You will be judged by what you say and do. So if you scapegoat immigrants or or perpetuate RWNJ lies etc etc etc, people will think poorly of you.

I think she is probably a survivor of sexual assault or harassment, identifies particularly with the Epstein victims, and just so happens to be on the right side of an issue for once.  Doesn't erase all the other ridiculous and/or offensive things she has said and done.[/quote]
