I am from a super conservative Muslim culture and people used to have multiple wives or families with 4- teens kids normally and now having 2-3 kids is the norm. It's very rare for people to have even 4 kids but no-one is panicked or thinks it's worth commenting on despite the conservative and intrusive pressure to have  2 kids- the first and a sibling b/c its a very low trust culture so people pity someone who has no sibling as someone who will have no-one to trust in life or help with eldercare. but beyond 2 everyone is chill and some people even look askance at the 3 + families so what is the deal here?? also many women do end up getting married later in life but that is a good thing if you are conservative b/c once you do get married you have to focus on your in-laws, kids, husbands needs as well as your own so you should build up your life/career before taking in all of those responsibilities.  It ha snow changed where younger couples are getting married and building life together but divorce is still seen as a tragedy and family responsibilities come first but there is no pressure to become a brood. mare!!
