Go watch a game with potential new team. Does the CB play the whole game? Does the defensive line play the whole game?

We had to make a similar decision. Stay on lower team and keep playing entire game vs an offer of 30-40% playing time when moving up.

My son loves playing the entire game. He doesn’t see the point of playing for a team unless you are playing for 3/4 of the games. So we said to the coach when you can come back and say you are looking to move him up and he will play at least 75% of the game then we would take that offer.

It worked out because another club’s top team say him at a tournament and made that offer and my son agreed.
