I find them both really annoying in their public personas, especially him. But there's no indication this recent issue has had any negative impact on their marriage. It was just a screw up because Bell made the joke at the worst possible time (during DV awareness) right before she was supposed to promote the second season of her rom com. So she's been MIA during promotion because obviously they decided it would be better for her to lay low.

My brother and his second wife are like this. It's like "omg we're both such selfish, narcissistic screw ups -- we're perfect for each other!" Agree, though it’s worse than that. It’s more like "omg we're both such selfish, narcissistic screw ups -- we are AWESOME! Too bad you’ll never be as cool as us.”

The word “smug” comes to mind.[/quote]
