Disagree. Working in an Amazon warehouse is dangerous and unfulfilling. Not stable, either. AI frees up people to do more interesting and fulfilling work.
Have you been in an Amazon warehouse? They are extremely safety-conscious. They have very few injuries. Most are already run by robotics, and the ones that are not have been attempted to be retrofitted, but it didn't work, so Amazon walked it back. Bezos is lying. He closed warehouses recently in Florida because in Florida, he could not find competent help and he won't hire unvaxed. He opened more in CA instead. Yep he did. The other reason Amazon closes warehouses is unions. Any prospect of the union warehouse closing. Working in warehouses and factories for pennies on the dollar with zero injury protection is coming. Project 2025 100% indicates that. Not only Amazon, but all companies will have skeleton crews doing the work of what people do now ie Project 2025 and no over time pay or benefits will be mandatory ie say good by to employee benefits.
