If your child needs a tutor, the homework and tests you've received back would already be indicating that and the teacher would probably have already reached out.[/quote] I am not the PP, but last year my child scored below grade level, and there was zero communication from the teacher about any issues or any suggestions how to address this. It's early elementary and the "worksheets" were mostly color-by-number pages, so I had no idea.. Once I saw the test result, I intervened and helped my child, and next time the test result was fine. But the only actionable piece of information I received throughout the year WAS the test result, and I could do something months earlier if I received it on time.[/quote]
