[/quote] Eyeroll. Energy Star ratings aren't marketing propaganda: they actually do measure the energy and water use for individual appliances. And we can also measure how much water people use to hand wash and rinse each dish. If people hand-washed in a basin and then dunked in a rinse tub, that might be less water, but most people run their faucet for both scrubbing and rinsing.[/quote]
