He wasn’t extremely happy with the group of friends, wasn’t challenged enough and personally I did not like the administration.

Ultimately, I kept him in because we were about 4 months out to finish the school year.

We did not go back to the school this year, and he’s thriving at the new one. My recommendation is do what is best for your child and family. Everything isn’t going to be perfect, but for sure weigh out what you’re dealing with. Stability was one thing for me, we were moving, plus taking him out the school would’ve been another change. 
I would talk to all parties involved first, try to see change and then make a decision. Also, in the interim, visit the potential kids and make friends with neighborhood children in case they are attending that school.
