So situation varies by candidate. So-so player but great student, we'll consider you as a walk-on. Great player and average student, we need you to retake the ACT multiple times and jam APs into your senior schedule and get 4s and 5s, we'll get you in. But understand, MIT gets poached out of its recruits but lots of other schools even before the NLI went away.[/quote]
